With a tuck of her wings, a dip of her nose, the bird swooped down from high to low, she sat beside a crow.
They gave each other the common nod, and off in the skies they go.
Minutes they go by and my eagerness fades to impatience, but my heart tells me they're the ones, oh no.
Don't leave me standing here alone to tackle my deep fear of love alone.
They must have something to say.
They can't just fly away just to leave me blinded by the sun on this old saturday.
But no, they flew away.
